Terry L Vartanyan Biography:

Terry Vartanyan is an independent business owner of a State Farm agency in Denver, Colorado. State Farm provides insurance and financial services to the community through agents who are trained and appointed to represent the company. Terry is consistently recognized as a top performer by State Farm, the largest mutual company in the United States. She’s involved in continuing education for her securities license and regularly takes professional education courses provided by the American College.

Terry started with State Farm in 1985 as a claim representative after graduating from California State University, Northridge with a B.S. in Business. In late 1989, she moved into the Agency Training Department to create and teach proprietary computer programs as they were developed. She was also in charge of training and marketing a Car Finance program to the agents.

Terry has always had a passion for improving financial literacy through education. She has an ongoing outreach effort to schools and community leaders in the Highland neighborhood offering training materials to teachers and volunteering her help. Terry recently held a board position with a local neighborhood association HUNI (Highland United Neighbors, Inc.), has been an integral member of HUNI’s Social Committee and the Membership Committee.

Terry is a native of Colorado, orginally from Boulder, and now lives in Denver. She enjoys many outdoor activities, especially cycling, hiking, skiing and snowshoeing. Her other passion is animals, sharing her home with two large active dogs.
